What areas do you serve?
Fetch the Moon Dog Training is based in Centreville, Virginia and serves surrounding Northern Virginia communities. A travel fee may apply to appointments located more than 30 minutes from Centreville. Your location and any applicable fee will be confirmed before scheduling.
Do you work with puppies?
Yes! Private sessions can help with puppy foundations such as potty training, biting and chewing, jumping, socialization, handling, basic cues, leash skills, and settling calmly at home. Training can begin as soon as your puppy comes home, although activities outside the home may depend on your veterinarian’s vaccination recommendations.
What equipment should I have?
For most sessions, you will need a comfortable flat collar or well-fitted harness, a standard leash, and small treats your dog enjoys. Please avoid retractable leashes during training. Depending on your goals, I may recommend other items such as a treat pouch, long line, mat, or enrichment toy.
Can you help with aggression or severe separation anxiety?
I currently focus on puppies, foundational skills, confidence building, household manners, and common everyday behavior concerns. Severe aggression, significant bite histories, and extreme separation anxiety may require a veterinarian, veterinary behaviorist, or trainer who specializes in those areas. Please describe the behavior honestly when contacting me so I can help determine the safest and most appropriate next step.
