One-Hour Private Session
Each session is customized around your dog, your household, and the skills you would like to improve. I’ll demonstrate the exercises, coach you while you practice, and explain not only what to do, but why it works and how to continue between appointments.
No package is required. You may begin with one session and schedule additional appointments based on your dog’s progress and your training goals.

Positive, Reward-Based Training
“Proven science” sounds slightly promotional and can invite questions about specific research claims.
I use positive reinforcement to teach dogs what we would like them to do instead of relying on fear, intimidation, or physical punishment. These methods support learning, confidence, and a trusting relationship between you and your dog.

Training Personalized to Your Dog
No two dogs or households are exactly alike. Your session will be shaped around your dog’s temperament, learning history, home environment, and the goals that matter most to your family.
Owner Education & Support
My role is not only to work with your dog, but also to teach you how to recognize body language, communicate clearly, and reinforce the behaviors you would like to see more often. You’ll have time to practice each exercise with my guidance and ask questions along the way.

Training Where Everyday Life Happens
Private sessions take place in your home or another agreed-upon nearby location. Working in a familiar environment allows us to address your dog’s behavior where it naturally occurs while reducing many of the distractions found in a group class.
Service Area
Fetch the Moon Dog Training is based in Centreville, Virginia and serves surrounding Northern Virginia communities.
A travel fee may apply to appointments located more than 30 minutes from Centreville. Your location and any applicable fee will be discussed and confirmed before scheduling.

Is Private Training the Right Fit?
I currently focus on puppies, foundational skills, household manners, leash walking, confidence building, and common everyday behavior concerns.
Dogs displaying severe aggression, a significant bite history, extreme separation anxiety, or behavior that may involve an underlying medical condition may need support from a veterinarian, veterinary behaviorist, or qualified specialist.
If another professional would be better suited to your dog’s needs, I will be honest and help point you in the right direction.
